Tree Pit trio: Lior Seker (Vocalist & Guitar), Yaron Rosenblum (Drums) and Nim Sadot (Bass Guitar) who are all originally from Israel met in London 2008 and since then have gone on to combine their different music tastes and produce an original and fresh sound. They signed with Downtown Artists a label in Soho, London and this is where I first heard their music. Straight away I was drawn in to their music as I listened to each song available on DA's website. I am a real fan of 'Indie Rock' and found each song so easy to listen to as catchy and made me tap my feet in time with the beat.
I found that each song sounded different and so I felt different listening to each one. For example "Nothing At All" is very upbeat and optimistic as soon as it starts and this continues throughout. In comparison "Like Hell" starts with a very solemn piano intro. The type of song I would listen too when doing university coursework. I feel Tree Pit cover a full spectrum with their songs and even have a remix to "Like Hell" that features Magic Puppet, which was recorded Live. The remix incorporates electro in it during the chorus giving it a completely different sound to the rest of the song and this works really well.
The band have also performed live at Proud Camden in 2012 and from watching them on YouTube I'd really like to see them Live as they have a presence on stage and the quality of their music live is awesome. If anyone was into Indie Rock and wanted to chill out with a few mates, have a few beers and listen to some original live music then Tree Pit is a band to go see. Below is them performing "Like Hell" at Proud Camden last year.
